Accepting terms of the beta
Before you can use FIDE AI Forecast, you’ll need to review and accept the terms.
Switch between token pairs
FIDE AI Forecast offers two separate AI Forecast forecasts for every player to choose from. All the forecasts are available on Mantle network. You can play based on the BTCUSDT price, betting with BTCUSDT AI Forecast price. Alternatively, you can play based on ETHUSDT price, betting with ETHUSDT AI Forecast price.
To switch between two FIDE AI Forecast forecasts, simply click or tap the token pair switcher on the top left corner.
Making a FIDE AI Forecast for the next round
The FIDE AI Forecast page shows quite a bit of information. FIDE AI Forecasts operate in 5 minute rounds. Make your FIDE AI Forecast before a round goes live to join in.
Checking the timer
To enter a round of FIDE AI Forecast, you'll want to check how long is left in the current round. You'll find the timer in the top-right area.
If the timer is too short, your FIDE AI Forecast might not confirm in time. To ensure this, make sure there is enough time left before making a FIDE AI Forecast—30 seconds should suffice, but allow yourself more time if you're following this guide closely.
Predicting the next round
When you're sure you have enough time, you can place your FIDE AI forecast for the next round.
1. In the "Next" section, you'll see a green "Choose Over" button and a red "Choose Down" button. Click "Enter Over" if you want to predict a rise in price, and click "Enter Under" if you want to predict a drop in price. Each option will have a different reward multiplier. The multiplier will change over time as the "Prize Pool" increases based on people's FIDE AI Forecasts. The Prize Pool is displayed just above the buttons.
2. A new window will open. If you are playing FIDE AI Forecast, at the first game, you will have to click "Approve" to enable the smart contract.
3. Once you have approved, you'll see "Commit" to FIDETEST for your FIDE AI Forecast. Enter the number of tokens you want to commit to your FIDE AI Forecast for this round in the field. Alternatively, you can click the buttons to use the provided values.
4. Once you've decided on the amount to commit, click "Commit" and verify your action in your wallet. The "Commit" button will fade out as your transaction is being confirmed. This brief wait is why we checked the round timer earlier to ensure we had enough time to make our FIDE AI Forecast.
5. After your transaction is confirmed, an "ENTERED" message will appear. Now, you just need to wait for your FIDE AI Forecast round to go live. A live round will last for 5 minutes, during which you can watch the price updates if you wish. However, you cannot change your FIDE AI Forecast during a live round—you are locked into your earlier prediction.
While your entered round is live
A live round will last for 5 minutes. You can watch the price update during the 5 minutes if you'd like.
You cannot change your prediction during a live round, however. You are locked into your prediction from earlier.
Once your entered round finishes
After 5 minutes, the live round you entered will finish automatically. There's nothing you need to do to end the round. Simply check the results.
- 1. Once the 5 minutes are up, the "LIVE" section will change to "Calculating". This process only takes a moment.
- 2. After a brief wait, the finished round will move to the left and be marked as "Expired". The result will be displayed as either OVER in green or UNDER in red.
- 3. If you missed the results, you can scroll back through a few rounds by clicking the left arrow on the purple bunny cards.
Seeing results for older rounds
To view results for rounds you've entered that are older than a few rounds, follow these steps:
- 1. Click on the reversing clock icon next to the round timer.
- 2. A "History" page will open. By default, you should see your most recent round at the top of the list. Click anywhere on the round to see more information.
Collecting any winnings
To collect your winnings, follow these steps:
- 1. If you won your entered round, a "Collect" button will appear in the row. Click this button. Your token winnings will then be transferred to your wallet.
Viewing leaderboard
To view the leaderboards of FIDE AI Forecast, follow the steps below.
- 1. Click on the trophy icon next to the reversing icon.
- 2. A "Leaderboard" page will open. By default, we have sorted the leaderboard.
